Changing up my style a little- need advice.
Well I'm a month out of my relationship and while I'm working on myself I figure I might as well work on the wardrobe and so on. Would love to get women's opinions, but really all are greatly appreciated..
I'm 5'11 or so.. 150lbs or so right now.. I dropped weight after the split up.. working on gaining weight via eating and working out..
Year old pic.

So.. Which of these things would you choose? What says mature, but fun and laid back? What would make someone such as myself a bit more visually appealing and easy on the eyes?
- Running shows, tennis shoes, high tops, skater shoes, loafers, boots, etc.
- Boxers or boxer-briefs?
- Jeans or khakis?
- White t-shirt, polo, or button up dress shirt, store brand(AE, Hollister, Gap, etc.)
- Colors?
- Shaved chest or regular?
- Forgot to shave this morning look, shaved, beard?
- Sunglasses or no? What kind?
- Leather jacket or?
- Jewellery of any sort?
Thanks ahead of time all! I need to wow the ex or possibly a future girlfriend.. Can't be a single father forever lol..

The link doesn't work. But really, being confident (there's this line that a lot guys seem to cross thinking they are being confident when they really just turn into jerks. Don't cross it) and being yourself is the best way to make yourself attractive.

How about this: Rockabilly hair (young Elvis, young Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison) with Murray's Pomade--wicked strong stuff and you can find it at CVS for $1.65 a can--leather jacket, white t-shirt, blue jeans, black leather boots and a motorcycle. Tattoos if you're into that sort of thing.

Lol wow @ those answers...
Sorry @ link.. I changed profile and pic to private that must be part of it.. I see a piece of the link is missing.. maybe copy and paste error lol. I think I may be the only one capable of messing up and copy and paste..
I'm usually blues jeans white t-shirt.. or something along those lines..
Is it wrong to have a few different styles of clothes. Example: Sometimes I wear blue jeans w/ white t-shirt, dress kind of preppyish, surferish, sometimes a band t-shirt, sometimes a polo and khakis, etc.
Is this like false advertisement? Does this make me look like a joke?
I'm 23 now, I have a kid, and I've always dressed in various styles, but I want to make sure I'm in the best visual appealing I can be.. I don't have many opportunities to meet women.. I feel as though a good first impression and a great last impression could actually make a big difference. Is this thinking in a shallow manner? I'm not saying clothes make the man, but they do reflect him a little and tell a lot about his life, activities, sometimes job and importance.
Not very confident, anyhow.. She pretty well took my balls and manhood when she left.. So feeling at least like I might be looking OK I think might play in my favor and give me a slight temporary ego boost if I catch an eye or two (if possible).
Thanks for the answers you two- no matter how crazy they were lol..

And what was so crazy about mine? If you're putting on a show and dressing a certain way that doesn't reflect what you're really like, a woman will see it. It sounds like you dress in a relaxed manner most of the time. Are you more laid back? I think you're right that clothes make an impression. But not as much as you seem to think they do. How you dress isn't going to make or break a relationship. What you need is to get your confidence and self esteem back

Not crazy.. just I duno.. I just think if I feel good and feel I look at least OK that it's one less thing against me.
I agree, they aren't the important part, but they could be that little bit of something that helps, you know?
Not sure how @ self esteem and confidence rebuilding.
Ok dumb, but serious, question..
Does ironing your clothes REALLY matter as far as appearance? If so I need to buy one lol..
Yeah, I usually dress laid back and whatever I'm comfortable in, but I was/am afraid that may look bad or give off a "he doesn't give a damn enough to dress nicely" type vibe. I'm a relax and hang out type person.. I like to just take it easy usually.. I personally think it reflects 100%, but sometimes it does take that outside source to tell you that you look like crap lol..

If you're relaxed, I don't recommend dressing preppy or any other way to get girls. Say you ask a girl out and are taking her someplace, that's when you dress up. Ironing really depends on what you're wearing. Generally, I don't iron my clothes. If you're not good about getting your laundry put away neatly, and you leave it crumpled in piles after you wash them, you might want to iron them. Or at least use a spray on wrinkle releaser. The only time my iron came out regularly was when my boyfriend went through a phase of wearing nice collared shirts all the time. I would iron those always. I'm actually kind of glad he went back to sweats and t shirts everyday lol
