When you're ready and able to handle the emotional, physical, and possibly even health-related, consequences.

When you are fully prepared to have a child. Intercourse can cause you to become pregnant no matter if you have protection or not. So before you take that step you need to be prepared to have a baby and raise a child. (if anyone says everyone is doing it, their lying. Believe me, not everyone has to have sex right away.) Do not rush, find that speical guy/girl, and remember that giving your virginity is like giving away a piece of you heart that you'll never get back. Just make sure its worth it.

When the right time comes, it well happen. Don't listen to your buddies saying oh first don't matter, because it does. I know to many people who regret with whom they had their first experience with. I waited for someone I knew I wouldn't regret it with, and I still don't to this day. It was a special moment for me and she's still a special person to me.

I'd also like to know how old the OP is since this is in the Adult Sexuality forum.
So, OP, how old are you?

when you feel you are ready. Not when the person you are thinking about doing it with or anyone else believes you're ready. Trust me when the time comes you'll know. If you're unsure this means this isn't the right time.
make sure when this does happen USE A CONDOM!- safe sex is important. Mistakes happen.
also when talking about your virginty think before you let it go. Make sure you love/care about the person and he/she feels the same way too so there will be no regrets. When this happens you must be prepared for attachment. Because its hard to let someone go once you have gave them something that has value. Which your virginity should.
