    Can a parent's rights be reinstated after termination
    My ex-husband and I lost our parental rights back in 98. My mother in law gained permanancy and has become sick. My son is 12 going to be 13 in June and she is letting him stay with his dad who has no more rights to our son than I do. I want to know how I can go about getting my son back legally and can not afford a lawyer. Now what? Lucy

    How sick is she and can she continue to care for the child? As far as her letting her son spend time with the child that is her option. You really have nothing to say over it at this point.
