    Hampton bay ceiling fan remote box, where does get installed?
    There is a yellow remote receiver box that gets installed somewhere, where does it get installed?

    The fans I have done in the past had the remote box inside the canopy. Not much room, but it fit.

    Yes, usually it goes in the ceiling wired between the fan and the power source.
