    All receipts are CREDITS.
    Interest revenue is a cash receipt.
    It usually appears as an entry in the bank statement.
    The cash receipt journal is the recipient of receipts.
    Firstly of course the cash sales,
    The interest received , the cash dividends and other miscellaneous receipts.
