Well, we could use the poem that you wrote or, make one up from scratch.

What are some of the favorite things that you like to do, please?

    Thanks!

Forget them! They're so insecure they have to put other people down in order to feel better about themselves. Take the high road- don't put anybody down, and don't become reactionary. You're very hatefilled and angry towards them- keep cool and calm, hang w your friends, know that they love you, and don't worry about the people that are making fun of you. Make having a good self-image a goal of yours, and not worry about what other people (especially INSECURE people) think about you. HOWEVER: If it gets over-the-top, out of hand, or inappropriate, tell somebody!

    OK here's the words:
One night I was sitting on my bed
I was feeling kind of down
Thinking about what people have said
They laugh at me as if I were a clown
On the outside I put on a fake smile
On the inside there are many tears
My emotions are starting to pile
I tell myself not to cry
Because words supposedly won't hurt me
I wanted so bad to die
My heart cries let me be
My heart screams I can't take it
    When will it all stop
My heart is having a fit
    As its about to pop

There's a voice in my head
It tells me don't give up, Ime
I will never let you down
I am a friend you can always depend on
    I think I'm going insane
I turn the radio to the Edge
    The radio changes to 91.7
    I change it again
    It changes back
I think the radio is possessed
    So I turn it off
    It turns back on
As song comes on called rescue
As I listen I feel something surrounding me
    Tears stream down my face
I close my eyes right then
    I scream TAKE IT JESUS
I can't do it any more
    I can't be independent
    I give you my pride
    I can't do this alone
I give it all to you
I give you my feelings of loneliness
I give you my feelings of worthlessness
    I give you my depression
I give it all to you
IT'S YOURS IT ALL YOURS JESUS
You said your yolk is easy and your burden is light
    I believe you
    I opened my eyes
    Nothing glorious happens
I know I will still be depressed at time
Teenage life still won't be easy
But I know that night I was set free
I was released from Satan's prison
    I AM FREE
    I AM FREE
THANK YOU, JESUS, I AM FREE

I love to sing, hang with friends, go teach 2 year olds their Sunday school lesson, love singing and listening to Christian music. :)

    Okay, that's great, imepaula!

What I'd like for you to do is to post your poem in the Writing forum topic area. If you do that, I'll be able to fix anything that goes "Oops"! I moderate forum topic area. I don't moderate this area.

Besides that, your original question here is about being made fun of at school and what you can do about it, so this thread really needs to be about that in order to maintain the integrity of the thread.

Here is the link to post something in the Writing forum topic area.

    https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/newthr...ewthread&f=361

Here are some possible titles for your new thread:

    Writing My Song

Need Help With Writing a Song

Putting the Lyrics That I've Written to Music

How Do I Write a Song?

Composing a Song That I Can Sing for Others

How Do I Write the Lyrics and Music for a Song?

I Like Christian Music. Would You Please Help Me With Writing a Song?

Song Writing Troubles, Would Appreciate Answers...
Or, you could simply make up your own title.

I can see some real possibilities with what you've written becoming a song! But, we do need to work some things out, first...

Please also realize, that whatever you post on this site, becomes the property of this site. If you don't mind having what you've written being potentially visible by the whole world, then we're okay.

I don't mind if people use what I post on this site. Almost everything that I do for people here musically, is for training purposes.

Please let me know what you think?

    Okay?

    Thanks!

Try not to respond to them. I know its hard when they trip you.but don't engage. Talk to your parents about transferring schools. Don't ever stoop to their level. 1st it won't help. 2nd you'll be just as bad as them. And also remember that those are the peole who are most likely going to end up driving trucks when they grow up. So stay in school learn and it will help your future. High school is just a small part of your life. None of it matters. Besides grade and stuff. Just try new things be yourself no matter what it will get you far in life. I know it hard but you have to. You are who you are. What people say about you is who they are, and what they think you are.

Last year my brother killed himself. And I took it really hard. And on top of that my dad beat me. And my parents were getting a divorce. My mom was clinically depressed and about a month after my brothers death my boyfrined broke up with me. So I decided killing myself was the only answer. I attempted twice and didn't succeed the second time I took slepping pills and my mom came home and found meand called the police. So I ended up in a treatment center for 9 months. I can't say it changed my life although it did make me want me to be who I am. I know god loves me and that's all the love I need. People will always fail you. That doesn't mean you shouldn't love them though. I am know finishing up my seņor year. And I have a class with my xboyfriend. I used to be friends with all his friends but now they just make fun of me and they think I killed myself because he broke up with me. Which isn't true. So all I do is ignore the. I can't switch classes because the only class I can switch it with is the one I have with my little sister. And I want to keep it. So I'm going to just have to ignore them and keep strong.. and you can too.

Eh I don't agree with ignoring them. It actually makes them try harder - there's a point where you have to say something back to show them you do NOT like being treated this way.

Understanding the bully's reason for being "his way" never helps when they're being that way in front of you. I've been made fun of a LOT when I was a kid, and even when older - despite "understanding" the bully's reasons for being what he is, I still feel huge feelings of regret for not doing anything about it when they made fun of me in front of others. I never told them to stop it nor did I tell anyone about it.

You should continue to tell them to stop it with the frustration and hurt you feel, and be resistant to this behavior till either they stop or you get your good marks and get out of that school. Also tell your teachers about the disrespectful and jerklike behavior you have to deal with daily, until you can find one who listens. In this case I think you have every right to find a teacher or principle to help stop this. The school shouldn't condone this crap, and neither should you.

Try talking to some one who you think is a responsible reliable friend let it be outside school and as shazamataz was right try find something that you know you will be good at like self defense classes and you could threaten to tell a teacher but telling a teacher can make you be labeled as a snitch, when some one calls you a snitch then it feels really bad. I am guessing you're a girl and I hear your 16.
If you answer these question I guess I can find out why the bully you...
    1. are you from a different country?
    2. are you over or under developed?
    3. do you look different from them?
    4. is there any one who seems to be on your side, like not bullying you?
    5. is there anything that you think relates to why they bully you?
    6. how many people bully you, is it the whole school?
    7. are you from a bad back ground, like adopted or some one in your family in jail?

Please answer those questions and I can try and help you
