    Sometimes when I masturbate and am about to ejaculate, I hold my penis hard to prevent the sperm to come out. Is that unhealthy and detrimental for my penis?

    I have heard it does damage the canal yes.

    It's actually a technique used to intensify orgasm. Be very careful that the sensation does not "spoil" you for regular activities.
