    pain in inside of right knee
    I have seen my gp who sent me for phsio and referred me to hospital I waited about 6 weeks to see specialist who x rayed my knee and then said that my knee looked fine and it was probably ligament damage and will get better with physio and rest 7 months later there is no improvement it still gets sore and stiff the day after playing golf please help this is really getting me down

    Your ligaments, when damaged, effect your joints. That is why the soreness and stiffness occurs with extra stress put on a particular joint. All you can do is take an anti-inflammatory to reduce the swelling in the joint caused by the damaged ligament. Your knee probably did look fine, because the knee isn't the problem. I would say you should reduce your physical acitivity until the ligament repairs. Take glucosomine/controidtin (a herbal supplement) which may help with the repair work. Anti-inflammatories can be obtained over the counter.

    Of course your age may be a particular problem with internal repair work going in your body. We all mend at different rates depending on our phyical health level and possibly pre existing medical conditions slow the process down, along with the meds taken for those medical conditions.
