An injection pressure sensor is a small but costly device that is unfortunately mounted below the turbo. It often starts to go bad when the turbo leaks oil on it. If it gets really bad the wiring harness can also be damaged from the oil. You typically will notice that at idle and in gear the engine will surge (like a toyota haha) unfortunately the repair is no laughing matter as much of the of the components on top of the motor (not the motor) must be removed to get to it. Then since it is a pain in the _ _ _, you should replace it and if the wiring harness has oil in the connection you will most likely have to replace it as well. Ford did learn their less in 05 or 06 and relocated the turbo and/or the ICP sensor so it is more accessible. Expect a cost of $400 to $1900 depending on if the harness has to be replaced. PS you will also get an engine light and a code P2285 ICP circuit low out of range which is caused by the oil contaminating the connection. Sorry!
