My John Deere Lt190 with the mower engaged dies when I press the reverse pedal, why
While mowing if I press the reverse pedal the tractor dies as long as I press the pedal, it immediately comes back as soon as I let off the pedal, when the mower is disengaged and I use reverse I have no problems at all. It seems like it's being grounded when the mower is engaged and I try to use reverse. Any suggestions?

This sounds like something normal in today's new mowers. The unit dies in reverse with the deck being down because it is a safety feature. So unless this is a new problem then you have a normal working machine.

This is normal, there should be a button on the dash panel that you push to mow in reverse,

When it dies I've held plug wire and ground...
