    '97 Accord
How do I replace the starter on my '97 Accord. I have already purchased the starter but I have never put one in myself. Any tips, cautions? A few weeks ago the car began to "click" but not turn over, if you turn the ignition off and on a couple of times it would start but now if just won't start.
Thanks for any help you are able to give.

    Honda Starter Replacement

    1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
    2. Disconnect the starter cable from the "B" terminal on the solenoid, then the BLK/WHT wire from the "S" terminal.
    3. Remove the two bolts holding the starter; then, remove the starter.
    4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: When installing the starter cable, ensure the crimped side of the ring terminal is facing out. It's a good idea to clean both terminals and connectors with #240 abrasive cloth and coat with dielectric grease
