Thank you! I wish, hope and pray the same for you! :)

It's been raining here, and that's part of the reason that I'm hanging on...

Easter itself was very nice--friends over to brunch, kids running around the yard, lots of sunshine and gabbing.

Our family did the same thing. Great food everybody together. Beautiful weather... No talk of politics. Then the subject of capital punishment came up... but I quickly changed the subject by bringing up baseball. Go Braves... :D

My easter was yard and garden work, which I enjoyed in the sunshine. Tulips coming up, crocuses, other perrenials. It is always such a pleasure to take away old leaves and find treasures like that underneath.

Had one day built around using the power washer on siding, outdoor furniture, etc. and was looking forward to seeing everything white and shiny, but drats, the damn thing wouldn't work ! So disappointed ! Now I am out shopping for a new one and not finding store people particularly helpful. Its like they think I am asking if they have seen the nearest alien.

However, this is my working weekend coming up so just hoping I don't have many hours to handle Sat. and Sun. so I can get back at it.

I hope you all enjoyed some lovely weather over the Easter weekend. I know I am late in wishing that, but there it is nonetheless! You all know my heart is in the right place (not necessarily always on my sleeve). There's an old phrase, how many of you have heard that before !

    Hi all,

I spent the holiday driving, getting tired, driving more, then a GREAT meal at the sisters, which ran into the next days meal, etc... love those holiday leftovers.:)

I've spent the last 2+ days building a deck, it's been a real good time and the major stuff is done, now the rest of the extended family are coming up with ideas, hmm, I might be here for a while.

Although the allergies have calmed to a non problem, my sleep hasn't done any great strides yet, I think I need more PLAY time!

When you are here I'll take you to Tunica! It's the Atlantic City of the South. Or we could go to the races in Little Rock. LOL

Yeah, Tunica is in Mississippi... about an hour from me. I go for the buffets, I'm not a gambler. If I lose a roll of quarters I am not a happy camper. :p
