    I am trying to create formula for the following example:
    Total Contract #of months Monthly Amount Start Date 2009 Total 2010Balance

    $240,000 16 $10,000 3/1/09?

    After that I need to have the monthly columns for 2010 update each month so we know the remaining balance each month in 2010.

    Please verify - you are paying $10K per month for 16 months on a $240K loan? You need to tell us the interest rate used, and then you can determine what the principal balance will at the end of the 16 months (on 6/1/10).
