    Credit card judgement
    I had a summons against me from Bank of America credit card. I lost the paperwork and don't know what to do. What happens if I don't show on court? Will they try again or will I loose the case faster that way. I had a company that was going to help me, CMS but they are not responding my calls or emails after I sent them the paperwork. What can I do about this...

    If they can prove you were served properly then the case may be decided as "uncontested" which means whatever they say your going to have to do without objection. If you really can't find it call them and ask.

    If this was recent then ask them when it is. They must provide you with that information so you can mount a defense. They usually do a sidebar and try to make a settlement before it goes to a judge if you show up. If you don't then your taking extreme chances.
