    How much should be withheld
    If I make 1600 per week. Am head of house hold with one child how much federal taxes should be with held.

    $1,600 per week is $83,200 annually.

    Filing with one child as Head of Household, your federal tax liability will be about $12,076.

    That means you should have about $230 withheld from your weekly paycheck.

    This assumes that you are NOT itemizing and you will claim the Head of Household standard deduction of about $7,550.
