    Getting records exponged.
I have felonies for my criminal background and looking though a web sight that can help me get is expunged or pardoned I noticed that each state has different laws on this subject. I was wondering if my crime was convicted in one state can it be pardoned or expunged in through another state or would I have to apply with the state the crime was at?

It applies to the state it was committed in. That is why its always the people vs in a trial. One state doesn't have jurisdiction over another they are equals so if you had something occur in Florida for example then it is Florida that must be dealt with.

Also be careful of any website or persons making claims of pardon or exponging your record. It could be a scam.

The record has to be explunged not only in the same state but in the same court that convicted you normally.

You will need to hire an attorney and make a motion. They will normally require about 8 to 10 years of no other criminal activity since the conviction, so if you have more than one felony, it is not really going to happen, often you can get one explunged if you have shown a good clearn record since.

Also unless this is a web site of a licensed attorney who is a member of the bar of the state of your conviction, they can't do anything to get you explunged

Since you have felonieS, you won't get any of them expunged. Certainly, the reason they grant expungment is if you can show them that you didn't get into trouble after your first conviction. But that wasn't what happened.

First of all I stated that I have felonies not at which time they all happened. One thing I have noticed about this sight is that people have a tendency to blatently assume information that is not presented.

Wow, two entire posts and they can assume

But yes, felonies, not one felony, does not matter if they happened at one time or happened months apart, if there is more than one, the explungement is not going to happen

One thing I have noticed with people who don't give enough information, they think they know more about the subject.
