    Meter to seondary transformer wiring
    I have a utility pole with meter and 200A breaker. I want to install a distribution pedestal near it and allow for three services from it to separate buildings, each would have a sub panel. Questions: 1) Do I need any protection (breakers) between the main breaker and the sub panels--each sub panel would have a main breaker? 2) Can someone walk me through each component needed from the main breaker to the destination, including grounding if necessary?

    What type service? 3-phase? 1-phase?

    What type 'buildings'? Comerical? Residential? Accesory buildings? Primary use? What type occupancy?

    What will be the calculated load for each building?

    Overhead? Underground?

    Thanks manhattan. Single phase, Old, old farmhouse, service just for a couple years. Service to barn, no animals. Perhaps service to workshop. I only want to runt to the farmhouse. Very limited electric in the house, not modern. A few lights, a few receptacles, no water. 220 for a stove that I might use for window ac instead. Underground.

    Meant to say I only want to run the farmhouse at this time, other branches in the future.
