Okay so I've been having this menstrual problem for close to 3yrs now.

I've been to my regular doctor several times for this issue, have seen a OBGYN several times, & went & had a ultra sound done a couple of times.

I am NOT nor could I be pregnant (I had a tubal ligation in 2005).

The ultra sound showed that I had fibroid tumors about 1yr ago but since went back & they are now gone.

I've had lots of tests done & Absolutely nothing is coming up.

I really don't understand it & it's beginning to frustrated me.

I sometimes can go all day without bleeding at all but then when I have sex I bleed, it doesn't hurt when I have sex, I'm not in any pain.

For the last 3 months my periods have really been abnormal to me because I am not usually 1 to cramp but I have been lately (during my menstrual time) & my breast are very sore weeks before I actually start when they use to only hurt maybe 1wk before.

I started my period last month September 29th. Today is October 26th & I have since
Bled a total of 21days with only 7 days of no bleeding & these days were not all straight bleeding or not bleeding.

I usually only have periods for 3 to 5 days but when I 1st began bleeding this last period I bled straight 5 days, stopped for 1 day, then bled again for another 3 days straight. I only had the cramps for the 1st 2 days & the breast pain for weeks before & still on going for the 1st 2 to 3 days of the beginning of my menstrual cycle.

I have NO pain, burning, abnormal discharge, or strange smell. I've been having periods now for 17yrs (1st had 1 when I was 9yrs old & Iam now 26yrs old) Never have I had
This problem until close to 3yrs ago. If you have any ideal what could possibly be going on within my body PLEASE help me to better understand it.

There are many reasons this could be happening, and it's actually very common.

Have you had a pap smear recently? What about an ultrasound to check the thickness of the lining of your uterus? Have you had your hormone or thyroid levels checked?

You need to find a doctor that will examine you thoroughly, take your medical history and step by step eliminate possibilities regarding what is wrong until they find the answer.

Go back to either your regular doctor, or a new one and ask them to work with you to find out what is happening.
