    97 taurus make grinding and slips
    97 ford taurus with 221000 miles runs great has all gears but slips and make grinding

    Grindin noises and then acts like its in nuetral

    Sounds like the clutch packs are shot. You likely need a new transmission. Jasper is a well-respected rebuilder of engines and transmissions:
