    Fantasy Novel with Fencing
    I'm hoping someone can help me find the title of a book I read a few years ago.

    A college student on the fencing team goes home to visit his parents and brings two other kids home with him. We learn that he and his parents are refugees from a parallel world. They escaped with a bunch of gold, and here in our world they because wealthy by investing their gold. Now for some reason the son has to go back to the parallel world so he and his two friends from college grab up some survival kits and a few swords and set off.. .
