    Illegal bank account attactment
    There is a checkng account where both husband and wife are on the account but only the husbands name is on the credit card account that has been granted a judgment on. Can the credit card bank freeze the checking account with both huband and wife's money in it

    The checking account is a joint account meaning either or both husband and wife can access the money. As an asset it can be included.

    Yes, it can be frozen, and the money will be taken unless the other person can prove what money is thiers.
