Girlfriend broke up with me to "find herself" again
Hey everyone, I just need to get some input from other people,
My girlfriend broke up with me after 2 1/2 years of dating, I know things just haven't been going too good lately because I was just not treating her right and she did nothing to deserve the way I was treating her, we have had a great relationship for the first year and a half or so, we did everything together, cruises, vacations, family gatherings, EVERYTHING! So just recently I moved out of my parents house to my own place with my buddy and I invited her to move in with us because she will be attending college down the street from my apartment, now I will confess that since she moved in with me and my buddy she started feeling like "one of the guys" and I will agree I was not treating her like my girlfriend anymore. So just a few days ago she breaks up with me and tells me that she needs time to "find her self agian"... now I will also add that since she started dating me, she has been getting more into my hobbies (surfing, wakeboarding etc.) and hasn't really focused on her own (horseback riding, showing etc.) so our interests are somewhat different and she feels like she doesn't know who she is anymore because she does only things that I like to do. Also in the past she has always said that if she were to ever break up with me was to make me realize how much of an @$$ I am and to hopfuly change. And when she broke up with and she moved her stuff out she gave me many kisses and said this is only going to help our relationship. She feels like she needs to do this to get her life back on track (with school and work and her own interests) and also for me to get my life back in check... so my question is... do girls really break up with guys to make them realize what they have and to help change them? Now I realize that I have not been treating her right and that I need to change and I'm willing to make those changes for her. Its just been so hard for me to eat, sleep, or do anything! I have no motivation because she is gone... what do you guys think?

Break ups happen because one partner or another gets tired of what they are doing and wants to do something else. If you treated her bad then that's your problem. Sorry no sympathy for taking some one for granted.

Whether she comes back or not, you better get your act together and do better for yourself, because if down the road she takes a second look and you look pathetic, you can forget it.

Actually if you look pathetic, then you haven't changed and will never get a first look from any one let alone her.

Grow up, and do better, and stop feeling so sorry for yourself.

Mostly,I'd say, people break up because they've had enough of a relationship that's not making them happy anymore.

    And mostly,once its over,its over.

Become a better person for yourself and don't make the same mistakes in your future relationships.

I think she was just fed up with your behavior and truly wanted to move on. You can only kick a puppy so long until they run away.

You need to take this time to work on yourself. If you don't quit mistreating women, you'll never find and keep a good one.

It is possible to find yourself again, however that is there person she was before she met you and people change for the person they are with. Or rather they change to the person they are with or are supposed to. I suggest taking a real interest in some of the things she likes and enjoy your time with her if she does end up taking you back. Always make time for her and always treat her like your GF and not your boy pal. She is a flower and that is how she should be treated. Gentle, sweet smelling, and hungry. (reason I say hungry is because all things need some type of nurishment, even if that is just love)
However I doubt she will take you back if you treated her particularly bad. I have heard (don't know this to be a fact) that guys under exaggerate and women over exaggerate. Meaning that a problem doesn't seem to be as big to a guy as it does to a girl, ditto with things like penis size and what not. She probably isn't over doing it on this one but I got a feeling that you are under doing your mistreatment of her on this one.
You can try to get her back but I don't what good it'll do you
