I've used 2 bars on and off. My skin is a medium Asian color (think sand beige in makeup), and fairly even except for tan lines on my feet and the dreaded 'driving arm'. The soap used daily and in combination with exfoliation, evened me out. It is a very gradual product and must be used regularly, but it gave me a good result. The soap has no fragrance and did not irritate any skin except when left on too long. Try applying it to the body first and then the face, as that is the most sensitive. Also, it can tingle unpleasantly if used after you shave your legs. In addition to this, it can sometimes cause the skin to 'pill' or exfoliate if left on too long. This doesn't hurt, but you have to dust it or rub it off to look tidy. All in all, great for even tone and paling to your lightest natural shade, but did not lighten dramatically. If you can afford it, buy multiple bars (if you like your first one) to cut down on shipping costs. The skin care regimen that helped me look the healthiest was staying hydrated, out of the sun, and taking the recommended daily doses of both zinc and melanin for natural skin regeneration. Currently I'm trying the Rare Extracts body bleach free sample, but I find the online forums to be inconsistent and the hassle of finding the ingredient list and contact info of that company to be of some concern. Today is day one with that product. Anything is better than the products that produce results, but can give you mercury poisoning or lukemia.
