    Where would I be able to get hold of licorice in the Uk?
    I don't want buy it from an on-line website.. ya Neva know whether its real or fake...

    I have to ask though, you have your post under 'health and wellness' and you are asking where to buy licorice. What do you want the licorice for? Licorice is like a candy and comes in different grades of sweet or salty. Salty licorice is a delicacy in Holland. It is made from the licorice root, dizzy, that grows in the ground.

    Here in Canada we eat it like candy.

    Lol because its supposed to inhibit the enzyme tyrosinase to limit the amount of pigment produced... MAHARANI I'm interested... where you based in the UK? Are they sold in the shops.. I'm on about the actual root...
