4010s were built in the early 60s. There is nothing to program on them.

Can you give any more details? What exactly is it doing. What does it sound like.

    Hi,
You say you built the loader cylinders? I would say you have air in the hydraulics. With the engine running, move all loader controls to achieve full operation. Check fluid levels and add as needed. Make sure you did not lock park brake and operate drive system normally to see if it will bleed clear. If it does start moving, Deere recommends sharp turns in both directions to finish the job.

Everyone else is giving replies about a hydrostatic drive. A 4010 has an 8 speed, gear driven transmission.

If the clutch feels right it should be OK, but not knowing why it backed off makes me hesitant to tell you to try it. Do you have any idea why it backed off?

    Hi,
There are in fact two 4010s. One is called a wheeled tractor as one person pointed out. The other is a CUT for Compact Utility Tractor and is far newer. Perhaps you should advise of the age of this machine.
