I just received a packaged from a law office that there is a judgment in place against me since aug 2009 and now he wants to garnish my wages . The address has an apt. # which I live in a house so I don't know what to do first since I didn't answer the summon because I didn't know about it. Help...

What state do you live in... that will help others give more specific advice.

I would not waste any time... and contact a local lawyer about this. I am assuming the apartment they "Quote" served you at was never a past residence of yours. Was this a debt you actually incurred?

I live in WA state , and no never lived there , I used to have a P.O. with the last 2 digits 38, on the papers from court it gives me a description of a John Doe, now one of my relatives wanted to refinance his house is telling me that there is a lien on his house in our name.
