    Jesushelper,

Of course anything the Lord said it going to be awesome and profound. :)

This quote should be in the Bible somewhere, check it out:

"Life isn't like a box of chocolates. It's more like a jar of jalapenos.
What you do today, might burn your butt tomorrow."

So Forrest Gump was wrong? Life isn't like a box of chocolates?

    So sad! :( ;)

This is an easy one for me to answer. But it wasn't a specific quote or moment. For me my life changed after reading The Great Imposter, by Robert Crichton. The book is a biography of Ferdinand DeMara (you might recall the movie with Tony Curtis in the title role). The part that really affected me was how he managed to convince people he was what he was pretending to be. His method was fairly simple. If you look and act like you belong, then people will accept you as belonging. At the time I read the book, I was a shy, introverted teenager. After reading the book and putting some of his techniques into practice, I did a 180 degree turnaround. By acting like I belonged people accepted me. By people accepting me my confidence grew. As my confidence grew I actually became the person I was, at first, acting out as.

Along those lines. They recently arrested a man for flying a commercial passenger airline for 13 years without a license to do so. Lol

The moment I realized I was attracted to my college roommate. It is quite a life changing moment to suddenly realize you're gay.

Yes, I did have that moment that was an eye opener.
I was lying on my kitchen floor and my five yr.old son looked me in the eye when I raised my head and his pain was so evident and overwhelming.
That is the day I left my abuser and never looked back!

    Aha moment -

Waiting outside the nursing class for my lunch date I saw a photocopier cartoon on the bulletin board. Balloon figures don't impress me but the caption read: "If you can't find time to do it right, where the HELL are you going to find time to do it OVER?"

Liberty premiums are credit default swaps on the Obama Administration.(Or was that the acreage in Belize?) Liability premiums are for insurance in case some idiot breaks open one of the trucks and drinks insecticide.

English Film: Quote: "When you sneeze, it comes-out at over 500 miles-per-hour" [ 4 Answers ]

It's weird how the mind works, but I was having a conversation and I had a "flash-back" to what I remember to be an English movie about two teenage boys running away and meeting-up with a couple of girls and the one kid saying "When you sneeze, it comes-out at over 500 miles-per-hour" to try to...
