Why is my ex calling me
I have been split up with my ex for about 3 months, he left me and it didn't end nicely through his actions. Basically he left me in a lot of financial diffuculty and has been uncooperative in helping me out in the situation so basically I have had to pay out all the debts by myself with not a penny from him, he ignored my requests for help so once I felt over the relationship I gave up making contact with him and just realised that this is a mess I would have to sort out by myself. In the last week he has called my mums phone twice (he lived in their house for a while and was close, although she can't stand him now because of the way he has behaved towards me and my family) the calls were late at night so we assumed he was drunk. And I have had a few missed calls from him as well, during the day. No one has answered him, but I don't know what to do or if to text him back, he may have had an attack of the conscience and is going to help me out with money, or he may just be ringing to start the conflict again which I'm not interested in anymore. Should I find out what he wants as it may benefit me in the long run or just carry on paying the debts by myself for the next 4 years and struggling.

If he wanted to help out,or rather pay his share,he surely would be more active in letting you know his intentions.

    I would ignore him.

Have you tried to find out if there is any way you can legally claim some of the money from him?

I would totally ignore him. He's given you too much heartache and really screwed you over financially.

If he seriously wanted to help you out financially he would mail a check to you or your mother's house. He doesn't have to talk to you to do what's right.

Consider this as a learning experience and stay away from him.

Could you ask a male member of your family or your legal representative to call him back?

I agree with the others, I wouldn't be making contact with him personally.

If you must have contact with him, do it through an intermediary.

Keep ignoring him, why open a can of worms, for another worm, who is not capable of doing the right thing.

I do like the idea though of a male friend finding out if he is ready to be about the money, or hit the wind though.

If he can't show you the money, what would be the point?
