Trane xl 80 flame roll out problem
I have a Trane xl 80 gas furnace. During start-up, I get a flame roll out for a couple of seconds then it seems to operate normally. I checked the exhast vent for a blockage. What else could be causing this and how can I check it out. Thanks for any help.

The heat exchanger could be paritally blocked, or gas pressure may be to high. I would start by checking gas pressures.

Trane xe 90 flame sensor or what (again) [ 1 Answers ]

I took the advice from many and cleaned the flame sensor. The furnace ran for about two minutes this time with the burners going, then they went out and continues to be that way. Could it be something else too, or is it likely just the sensor needs to be replaced ?
