Can I start perrenials from seed now. I am in Midland zone 5?
I have just moved to this location and have a large garden. I would like to grow perrenials in the beds but just cannot afford the plants in the spring. (Retired Pensioner.) Can I start them from seeds now? I have a large well-lit basement. Would I need a grow-light to help them?

    Thanks Ray Ellis
