I am looking to run 110v through an old existing 220v line. The receiving end of the 220v line will be converted to 110v electric wire and then used for a 110v appliance. Actually, the appliance is a small in-wall box heater, that will be used periodically to warm a bathroom during the cold months.
To complicate this question. This 210v line was disconnected from a currently "live" 210v box that now leads to a dryer in the basement. The second question is... could I connect the old 210v line to the current "live" 210v box and run 210v up to the heater box in the bathroom(which says it can be utilized/converted to 210v usage). Is running a bathroom heater and a dryer going to over load/ heat up/ trip the braker if these two appliances are used at DIFFERENT TIMES, as appossed to the obvious threat of simultaniously.
Thanks for any input, my project is on hold till I furher understand this concept.
