    Will my bad credit record in Canada affect my immigration application
    I have almost 7000 cnd unpaid debt when I was in Canada as a student. Will my credit history affect my immigration application? ( I live in India now and recently applied for immigration)

    Should I try to reach a settlement?

    How old is the debt and is it student loans ? Student loans are government issue, salif. Did you immigrate to Canada and then take out student loans ?
