    Does the candle power of a car's stop light increased when a reflector is added?
    Can the candlepower of a flashlight change using different reflectors in the bulb cavity?

    In other words, can a reflector increase the candlepower, of a flashlight, over that of the bulb or LED, itself?

    If I am not mistaken the candle power is set by the wattage of the bulb and the voltage going to it. P=IxE Changing the reflector could change the coverage area i.e... small rounded on could make it more like a spot light while a larger one would cover a wider area. Making sure the reflective lens is clean and dry will maximize the mirror effect. I hope this helps.

    Basic answer is no. Actually no matter what material is used once light is reflected it is diminished. Con can concentrate light with a lense but you can't make it stronger than the original power
