I am 39 years old with normally regular periods this time I am 2 weeks overdue with slight lower abdomen discomfort, clear slippery mucus slightly bood streaked. I have not made any life changes or diet changes please help

If this is something you really worried about you should definitely go see your doctor. It's always better to take care of something earlier on than to wait. Sometimes if you wait on things they develop past the point of correction. This may turn out to be nothing at all, just a change in your body chemisty. Wouldn't you rather find out the answer right away, they you'll spend less time stressing over what it could be. Your well being should always be one of your top priorities, I hope everything turns out OK.

I'm glad I was able to help some, I wish it could have been more. If at all possible maybe you can change doctors, find one that is more personable.

It could be absolutely nothing but a missed period. The older we get the more we miss our periods. At your age, it's possible you are beginning perimenopause.

Wait another week, if you still don't get your period then test again. If that's still normal I'd suggest finding another doctor.
