    Wiring connections for lighted fan
    I attempted to connect the wiring black to blue back white to white but I have a red wire from the ceiling how do I connect the red wire

    What was there before the fan? Are you replacing a fixture with a fan?

    Black to black
    Blue to red
    White to white.

    Try that.
