Recently my skin feels like swelding over the eyebrow and lump and uneven, I have dark cicle under my eyes. My skin was abrown and smooth. Try using hyroquinone but it makes itch . I went to a dertermotolisgt here and they had me on display. There are no black female derm in Augusta Ga. The only female is in Atlanta and it takes forever to get an appointment . At my age I am not sure where I should turn to. I feel like I need some one to understand our skin

Are there black professional in Augusta Ga that can help with my skin care. I feel like I was on display when I visit a white female dertomoligst. She had her intern took pictures, I paid for a service that I never received.

I don't know about Augusta, GA as I live in another state. However, I will say that it is not uncommon for dermatologists, plastic surgeons, even orthodontists to take pictures prior to beginning treatment. These pictures become a part of your file so that the doctor performing the service can refer back to see if the changes are for the better for the patient.

It's not that they had you on display so to speak, but this is part and parcel of how treatment with certain specialists works.
