Water dripping from furnace, outside of house
We have water dripping from a line that leads to the outside of the house. There is a lot of water coming from this line and forms a pool of water outside. We have 2 furnaces and it is happening on both of them. The ground remains soggy or wet. There is a humidifier on each furnace. What is the cause?

Not knowing what kind of furnace you have, brand, model number or anything needed I might guess it could be condensation water,, they /some furnaces are supposed to do this, you could dig a hole about the size of a 5 gallen bucket, fill about 3/4 full of gravel or small stones and run a pipe from the line coming outside and into the hole full of stone, or you could just leave it alone

Dripping moisture under house [ 8 Answers ]

In the crawl space, under my 1970's built:confused: home, there is insulation placed between floor joists. In the middle of the house ONLY, the insulation is dripping wet and the floor joists are dripping moisture. I checked under the insulation and the floor is dry; no moisture. There are no...

Water dripping onto furnace filter [ 4 Answers ]

This will probably be hard to diagnose without seeing the problem but I though I would run it by you guys since the HVAC tech wasn't sure what to do. I have a lennox heat pump with the furnace in our garage. It is an upflow unit so the filter is at the bottom of the unit with the coils and drip pan...
