How do I respond to a default divorce hearing before the deadline
How do I respond to a default divorce hearing before the deadline?
My ex told me not to do anything about the divorce to just let it go and we wouldn't have to go to trial. She sent me the paperwork and I agree almost entirely with what is on the papers but I talked to some people and they said that if I don't respond she could change her mind in front of the judge and if she does she will probably get away with it. I'm just concerned about my boys and don't want to lose them and I also do not want them leaving the state for longer than a week and she plans on sending them away to her mothers for the summers. I do not want that because as it were right now I spend waay more time with them than she does, not that she's a horrible person but I would go crazy if they were to be away from me longer than a week. So if I don't respond I fear I will not have say from here on out. And I have one day to respond. Please help. By the way this is in Arizona.
