Do you think national (federal) referendums should be used?
I'm doing an assignment for school (Law Week 2010 with the Denver Bar Association) and need peoples opinions on this matter. If you don't already know, a referendum is a direct popular vote where the public is asked to accept or reject a particular policy proposal (congress normally makes the decisions for federal laws). A yes or no answer would be great and if you like explain why as well. Thanks :)
