    Hello Sam,

Is your current hair color natural or is it colored?

    Hello again,

If I were you, because it is virgin (natural) hair color, I would have it done at a salon... I know it will cost you more money, but trust me, the results will be much better!

If you have a stylist do it for you, not only will he/she know how to formulate a great color for you, but color placement will be even throughout, not to mention, if its highlights, then folis will be required. Try doing foils yourself, it's hard...

Your hair is natural, so the stylist could just use a lighter color with developer, or the stylist could use bleach, depending on how light you want to go.

I would like to add two "chunky" highlights in the copper family to my dark brown hair. I had this process down previously by a professional, but it cost me about $80 to do it, and I am now unemployed and cannot really afford to spend $80 on two foil highlights. I purchased quick blue bleach and a...

I want to dye my hair dark brown. My friend took cosmetology but she's out of practice. I have a medium brown color with light brown and blonde highlights right now. The roots are about 2 inches. I know that if she just uses dark brown dye the blonde highlights will be a muddy gross brown. She...

I've been highlighting my hair and my natural color is dark brown. I'm happy with it but have moved far away from my favorite stylist.
