    Georgia probation laws
I was on parole and probation in 2 different counties I violated my parole by catching a new felony, I signed a waiver to go back to prison instead of going in front of the parole board meaning I was eligble for parole in 6 months, I went to court on my new felony charges and the grand jury didn't indict me on the new charges, so I had to go to the other county for probation violation, in which the judge found out that I signed a waiver so he gave me 6 months concurrent with the parole violation, so I sat in jail for 90 days instead of going back to prison because they made a mistake. I have been on the run since 2004 I now want to turn myself in. The whole time I was out from 2004-2006 it said I was currently incarcerated and said I was released on the day my parole was set to run out. So now I have warrant for my arrest for the probation violation, I haven't been in any trouble since I was released. My probation was set to run out in 2008 if I had complied, so now I want to pay off my fines I owe for my probation and get this warrant off me, and hopefully get my probation terminated. What are my chances that I could have this happen?

    Hello n:

I can't tell if it's just probation time you owe or prison time. It looks like prison time and they made a mistake. In any case, they'll collect what you owe. If it's just probation time, you'll probably do some time in jail and be released to finish on the street. If you owe slam time, you're going to pay it.
