    Soldering brass to copper
What is the best type of Non-Lead plumbing solder to solder copper-to-copper and to solder brass-to-copper? Some solders on the market don't even give the elemental composition of the solder. Some solders are Tin-Antimony (95% tin-5% antimony). Some solders have many elements including Nickel. Some are silver based. I've read that Tin-Antimony solder is not the best to solder brass fittings. Very little is on the internet to explain which solder is best to use.

95/5 Tin Antimony is the standard plumbing solder

Remember to clean and use the correct flux. The melt temp is higher than 50/50 so seasoned pro's might use MAPP gas torches rather than propane. Clean the fittings after soldering.
