    I have a Tempstar 5000 heatpump.
    My heatpump started freezing up last month and I noticed that the fan was hard starting. I replaced the capacitor so the fan would start up, but it still has freeze ups.
    What could be my problem?

    Defective defrost circuit board

    Defective defrost sensor (if so equiped)

    Low refrigerant charge (not likely but you never know)

    My tempstar cools the house down,turnes off then a little bit later its starting to blow hot air,tried 2 thermostats
