    Megg57= the silver certificates that you have are more valuable then a regular one of the same denomintionthe reason is because they are called [STAR NOTES & REPLACEMENT NOTES] WHY= during the printing of paper money,they catch a note that is damaged in some waythey pull it out then they enterit in a record book then take it to the furnace and burn it then they take and print another note the same ,except for the STARS next to the serial numbers at the start or the last one on the end;; Back years ago they used the stars as a decoration on paper money , then in 1908they took and started using it for this reason ,; to indicate that it is a replacement note;; by the way you will find them [STAR NOTES }in every denominations;;ok now for the rest of the story;; the values foR the ones you have;;
    #1= #1616-(*)notice star] in VF-20=$7.50;; IN UNC-63=$30.00;;THE 1616 is the catalog book number; VF-20 means =VERY FINE -GRADE 63:: THE UNC MEANS UNCIRCULATED -GRADE 63 ;;now for #1616[no star -reg. note=VF-20=$3.00;; for UNC-63=$12.50;; I know that you can already see the difference in value and if it is sold to a collector of this type of note then it could go even higher, if you ever decide to sell them let me know and I can give you some names and address e-mail, and phone numbersjust come to this site -collectables, on ask me help desk ,and holler for the [flying Blue Eagle] or{ CLOUGH - ON THIS SITE}
    Now for your last question; The number {E-6504 ] in bottom right corner on face side;; that is the plate number that was used when printing the note has the quadrant number check letter plate check letter;; note - the series of 1935D, 1935G will have a letter and have [4] didgits,such as yours;; which means = notes were printed with bsacks of two different widths;; with the notes, with the wide variety are 1/16" longer
    then the narrow type;; #2-series 1935D-VF-20-$3.00 and UNC-63 is $9.00
    1957A-# REGULAR NOTE VF-20 GIVES THE NOTE AS VF-20 is $ FOUR DOLLARS
    AND UNC-63= $15.00. NOW for the Qustionof they did not have {IN GOD WE TRUST} Printed on the back side;; This was not put on usa paper money until the end of 1957 and 1958;; THIS was approved by congress in 1955 but did not get put on the $1.oo dollar silver certificatewhich was the first to have it on the back side;; I guess that I have bent youals ears long enough,so I am going to close ;;Have a great day tomorrow and GOD BLESS; I hope I have answered all your questions ;;;F.B.E.
