    Dental school that will remove braces without records
    Is there any dentist, even at a dental school, that will remove my braces without prior records from my orthodontist?

    Why can't your orthodontist remove them? They usually want to take impressions for their records so they have a before and after set for comparison. I don't think any good dentist would remove your braces for you.

    I took them off yesterday. I only have one left in the back that will not budge, but my ortho was in Fl, and I'm in Oh now; I've been through extreme measures trying to locate him with no luck.

    YOU took your braces off?? What are you going to do about retainers? You are aware that your teeth will move back to the position they started without retainers? Why don't you call an orthodontist nearby? There will be a charge for what he can do for you but at least you'll have retainers to keep things in place.
