    I have one circuit breaker and two meters on my 2 family house
    I have am about to purchase 2 family house in ny brooklyn it was built ove 80 years ago it had one circuit breaker and 2 meters does this impose a problem.

    You won't be able to shut down power on 1/2 of the house if needed.
    Do you have 1 or 2 Electrical panels for the 2 halfs?

    Something here does not jive.
    There is no way there is two meters and only one service disconnect.

    Could it be that the other disconnect is in another location? A code violation but not unheard of.

    Agree something is off here. Are the meters after the breaker panel? What wire size comes off the panel and what size breaker
