    What should I do
I'm 21 had a baby girl at age 19, I'm not with the father. I don't get any child support and I can't because he doesn't work and lives off ssi witch I can't take money out of... I have a job that doesn't give me any hours... I can't find a new one even though I'm trying very hard. Thinking about moving... but I'm scared I've never moved anywhere before and never lived on my own... I never had a best friend because they all seem to stab me in the back.. I'm trying to stay single but its hard because I don't have a best friend so I feel very alone... just got out of a 2 year relationship... my heart hurts so much and I'm trying to stay strong and not go back to him... I have enough money saved up to find a place if I moved but I need a job and then a baby sitter... I'm stressing out and so worried about the future, I graduated high school but haven't done any collage.

I am sorry your life is so strained. It's hard raising a child on your own. Have you gone to court to get child support? It is still possible that your child may receive SSI because his/her father does.

Wow. You've got a lot on your plate right now. Where are you living now? I'm not asking for your location, I mean, are you with family? Are you living with your ex (maybe stuck in a lease with him still or something?)? Where are you thinking of moving? Have you considered going back to school? It might be tough, but they do have financial aid programs. I can't speak for every community college, but I recently found out that mine has counselors there specifically to help parents do things like find affordable sitters so they can have study time and all sorts of helpful things like that. And having a college education will really help open up your employment opportunities.

Please stop posting the same question - it's been asked and answered. Why do you think the child isn't entitled to SS benefits? Who told you the child isn't (the question posed in your other thread)?

How are you supporting yourself and the child now?

Yes, you need to go to Family Court (or the Court handles these matters in your State), prove paternity and get a support order. Then that order needs to be enforced.
