    how do we calculate g-moles?
    a mixture of methanol and methyl acetate contains 15 weight % of methano. Using a single dimensional equation, determine the g-moles of methanol in 200kg of the mixture

    Find first the mass of methanol there is in the mixture. You know that 15% of the mass is methanol. Find the value of that 15%.

    Now, 1 mole of methanol has a mass of 32 g.
    You know the mass of methanol, find the number of moles of methanol.
