    In califonia,those a studio need to have a stove
    I just rented a studio witch does not have a stove where I can cook, legally does the landlord need to have one install?

    No, I find no law requiring the landlord to provide a stove for you. I assume you rented the studio without a stove and there wasn't one there which now has "disappeared?"

    Was there one in there when you looked at it.

    Did they promise to give you one.

    You viewed and rented an apartment without one, do there is not even a moral reason for them to provide one.
    If you wanted one, why did you rent this place?
