    Why is it difficult to get a passport in ghana
    My friend's 15 yr old son need a passport and visa from Ghana to visit my family here but said he is having difficulties getting the passport can you help?

    There is really no problem to get one,

    Is this a real "friend" or merely someone he has talked to over the interent,
    Ghana is the most well known place for dating and passport fraud.

    They issue passports as ID and a visa from the US.

    So as long as he has proper ID and the very small fee they charge for it, there should be no trouble at all.
    For only about 100 dollars they can get a rushed on in about 3 days even

    To obtain a passport is not difficult, your friend should have no problem getting one. It costs about $100, BUT to obtain visitor's visa to US is extremely difficult. Your friend needs to have proof of ties to his/her home country and sufficient funds for travel expenses. Cost of visa fee is $131.
